A. Kimball Co. was a Chicago company known for producing a range of musical instruments, including pianos. What they were doing patenting something like this is not known...

AI is directing you to W. W. Kimball Company but it looks like A. Kimball Co. is unrelated.

I tried to negotiate that misinformation (AI doesn’t seem to do history very well- or I’m not smart enough) But I think A Kimball was also a piano manufacturer.
