A. Kimball Co. was a Chicago company known for producing a range of musical instruments, including pianos. What they were doing patenting something like this is not known...
I tried to negotiate that misinformation (AI doesn’t seem to do history very well- or I’m not smart enough) But I think A Kimball was also a piano manufacturer.
With piano sales at an all time high, and woodwinds humming along close behind, Mr Kimball then called for a major expansion in the percussion department, hoping for sales to explode there as well.
