$3295 in 1930 translates to about $64000 today. Doesn't seem like a lot of money for the car.
$64,000 is what people spend today on a pickup, but 1932 was a few years into the Great Depression. By then, how many big spenders were there? That's the $64,000 question.
Agreed, not many normal people buying them but it was a huge step below a Duesenberg at $8500 for a chassis- before installation of a body.
