We had an '85 two door like this. Most reliable car I ever owned, especially in the winter. The colder it got, the quicker it started! No great shakes for acceleration, but once it was rolling it was fast! Only car I ever named "Zippy, the amazing back-up Saab"!

ReplyDeleteWell, at least on the New England prep school circuit it was. But then again, the competition was mostly 300 TDs and full-size Suburbans.
