Poster for Imperial Airways by British artist and designer Theyre Lee-Elliott. The stylized, streamlined shapes come from his famous "Speedbird" emblem of 1932, which was adopted by BOAC after they purchased Imperial Airways in 1939 and is still being used by its successor, British Airways.
