I love this image. Those old tractors are just about the simplest possible mechanical construction. They are nearly just a seat mounted to the drive train. There is not even a chassis, in many cases.
The oil pressure gauge may be awkward to read, but it is the perfect location mechanically speaking. No leak-prone correcting pipe.
