This one-off sports car version of the Leyland Eight luxury car was produced independently by John Parry-Thomas, the chief engineer of Leyland using leftovers after Leyland ceased production of the car in 1923.
Cutaway drawn by Brian Hatton.

This car was assembled by leyland apprentices under the guidance of Newton Iddon who was a apprentice himself during the time Parry Thomas was designing and developing the Leyland Eight. He had worked with Thomas and much later with the help of Henry Spurrier tracked down the few remaining known Leyland Eight parts and set about building this car. I'm uncertain exactly when this was undertaken but it would be most probably be early to mid fifties.
