Identified as a Cooper JAP by Classic Bike in their Feb-Mar 1981 issue and piloted by Ernie Woods and Arnold White. I wish I had a side view of the thing!

Crazy! 3 wheelers are just too much fun. I could not find any reference to any Cooper 3 wheeler when I went looking. Maybe a cooper race car with a motorcycle welded to the cockpit section? I'm amazed at the knowledge of readers. Hope someone pipes up with details.

Strange, never knew Cooper to have been into 3-wheelers...
