Tools by Pennen rarely show up in our area, but here's an old ratchet that I don't think fits into the Alloy Artifacts proto tool page. I can't quite make out the number in the middle, possibly MFG1661 USA?

I don't think there's much to say about it other than "it's a 1/2-inch ratchet and it does what a 1/2-inch ratchet is supposed to do."
I don't know why, and I'm sure it's unfair, but in my mind I've always seen "Challenger" brand as a homeowner rather than a professional brand. Maybe when I was 16 I worked with a really bad mechanic who had a Challenger socket or something.
