British Made wrench

Wrench manufacturer unknown, but at least we do know where it was proudly made... and I can't decipher the collection of numbers and letters on the other side of the handle.

You can't read that? I mean, it clearly says "12/2420 1948 TS&S."

Just kidding. All I could make out was "12/2420" and it turns out somebody has one on ebay and happened to put the same text in their title:

I haven't figured out yet who TS&S is, but they made a lot of wrenches and they apparently made a lot of them for Ford tool kits. If I come up with anything more I'll let you know but my wife is giving me the evil eye because I'm looking at wrenches on Saturday night.
