Innovation from Harley Davidson. Can't believe it took twenty years of motorcycling to figure this out. Before this, I guess motorcycles just laid on their sides...

So there was a time, nearly a century ago, when Harley Davidson was on the cutting edge of motorcycle development.
It's kinda' like a corkscrew or a stoplight... you just feel like it's always been there, but it's good to remind yourself that somewhere, sometime, somebody showed up with the first one.

And really, when a motorcycle weighed 150-200lbs, the old flip up rear stand would work just fine...
