I have long wondered whether one of the designers' explicit goals was to make the most (externally) beautiful engine ever.They're alleged to be rather fragile, aren't they? Do any of you fellow obsessives have personal experience with an S7 or S8?
I've only had experience with one. The guy seemed to think he should go the Harley route and he had straight pipes on it. Jarring.
[Groaning piteously to read "... the Harley route."]If I had an S7 I would procure some giant shoes and a quart apiece of the primary colors, and I would go the Clowncycle route. If I had an S8, I wouldn't.
