The only info I've found online for this company name is in the 1904 business directory which lists Putnam and Purcell (pickles and vinegar) at 1342 East Mifflin St.
Is there any connection, who knows?

Every time I see one of these early 1900's ads I wonder about the testimonials. This one is particularly suspicious with the similar wording at the beginning of the letters. I'm pretty sure fake reviews didn't start with E-bay and Amazon...
