There are always planes to admire at antique markets and tool shops, I don't often find them still in the original box. This is nice, by the tag I'd say it came from Sears, Division 09 was hardware...

I love finding used tools in their original box but it's a double-edged sword...I use the tools but it's awkward to store them in their boxes and take them in and out, but I can't bring myself to toss the boxes. So that's how I end with a couple of totes full of empty tool boxes in my storage unit.
Of course if I should die suddenly, the tools will be disposed of without anybody knowing about the boxes, and they'll be forever separated. After I turned 60 I started worrying about stuff like that.
