Now they're taught "Identifying different types of gender by their self-determination."

Do they still teach 'industrial arts' in high school?I took woodworking, blue print reading, and basic machine shop practice. Those are the only things I really remember, from 50 years ago.more fun than was 'social studies '.

If they do, its much reduced. We made several little things in shop class (1968) using various hand and power tools (except the table saw) and I think everyone should have had that experience. The girls got home economics, the boys should have had some training in that direction too. Learn to fry an egg, make a pot of chili and operate a washing machine. (oh, and clean a toilet!!!!)
