Here's an interesting one.
"Our man" Jay in New Jersey, found this somewhere in New Jersey and wondered what was being commemorated.
Starting at the beginning, it's a product of Utica Cutlery, (still in business). The bridge illustration figures prominently, but googling major bridge openings is inconclusive, in Vancouver the Cambie St. bridge was opened in 1985, it doesn't look like this one. In 1985 the Burlington Skyway was twinned, (if you squint hard, maybe?). It is near Toronto... and a local of the United Brotherhood of Carpenters and Joiners of America is located in Toronto. Then we have the Great Seal of the United States.

The UBCJA seems to have held its 35th General Convention in Toronto in 1986. Possibly it's something commemorating that? The knife may not have been official merch, but might have been commissioned by one of the locals, leading to the selection of trades and other things shown.. There is an item from this convention currently posted on WorthPoint. https://www.worthpoint.com/worthopedia/carpenters-35th-general-convention-guest-badge
Oh thank heaven! -- the second vignette on the knife's backside is a guy doing something to a tree, and the guy is wearing a hard hat and looking at his foot. My first interpretation of his head was (a) a happy cartoon frog face or (b) an emoji with a misshapen smirk. (C) was a big relief, let me tell you. --rats
Thanks! that seems to be the case, the 35th General Convention of the United Brotherhood of Carpenters and Joiners of America (UBC) was held in Toronto, October 6 to 10, 1986, so that explains "Toronto" and "October". Now I wonder if the knife was a handout at the convention. I'll start looking at knife displays at antique stores.
I think that's a diver! see the fish and bubbles?
Heh! Sure 'nough.
Very cool utility knife! I especially like the guy assembling the Ikea bookshelf next to the turbine ;)
The bridge looks like the Peace Bridge between Buffalo and Ft Erie.
Oh! that could be.
