Mr G do you know if that engine is the same one used in the mighty R25 motorcycle? If so: yikes. The horror! -- those little bikes can't get out of their own way or climb a hill. One shudders to contemplate the Isetta's performance. [Shuddering violently.]

Modified BMW Isettas were used to smuggle East Germans into West Germany during the Cold War, crammed next to the engine. As long as the driver had his own paperwork in proper order, the East German border guards didn't think that somebody else could be hiding in the tiny Isetta.

Jack from Illinois.
