An interesting scene for 2023, a Budd RDC sitting on a turntable in front of the 3 stall roundhouse in Rockland, Maine. There have been interesting things parked there before, and this is the unit the company will use for their Coastliner excursions.

Well... that is indeed noble, but remember...it looked like it then to the writers of the advertising copy but it didn't prove to be THAT important... but your listeners will be impressed:-)
I used to ride one getting to Toronto for 9am. The bus engine was coupled to a two speed transmission. It groaned into motion.... accelerated (sort of..). then: pause, BANG CLUNK and the motor started over groaning as it dragged the whole thing up to what seemed to be a reasonable speed..
