In this case, locomotives.  The Canadian Locomotive Company, located on the waterfront of Kingston, Ontario built about 3060 steam, electric and diesel locomotives between the years 1854 to 1968. The D10 steam locomotive (#1095) in Kingston's Confederation Park is all that remains of that era.
