Unusual stern.  Still around as of 1965.  Sadly, according to evsboats, today its "crumpled remains ... reside in a barn in western Washington."  The evsboats site has some terrific images taken from old photographs, boating magazines and advertisements.  (An example below.)  Well worth a visit.  It also references the Antique Boat Museum in Clayton, New York.  I've got to get there one day.
