I found this blind riveting tool at a yard sale. It's made to be easily disassembled. Cleaned it up and found it works very nicely. I like the detail in the stamping of the name on the tool. (BTW, "Niet" is German for "rivet.")
I'd never heard of this company before. It was founded in Frankfurt, Germany in 1955 by a Dr. Bierman and his wife, taking its name from GESellschaft für Internationale PAtentverwertung mbH (basically, the "society for international patent exploitation"). The Germans do have a way with words. The company has had production facilities in the US for some time.
