Peter O'Toole at the tool post

Two screen shots from one of my favourite movies, Murphy's War, released in 1971.  It's based on Max Catto's 1969 book. In the scene above, Murphy (played by Peter O'Toole) is turning a part needed to repair the aircraft (a Grumman OA-12 Duck--although in the book it was a Fairey Swordfish) that he intends to use to sink a German U-boat that sank his own British ship and machine gunned the helpless crew in the water off of the Orinoco River.  While he works, Louis Brezan (played by Philippe Norette) looks on. The following dialogue ensues:

Louis:       "You know machines?"
Murphy:   "What?"
Louis:        "You know machines?"
Murphy:    "I love 'em."
