We used to make things in this country, #237 Connor washing machines


This mid-50s Connor wringer washer is on display in a store window on Queen St West in Toronto. A Google search produced a brochure from 1912. Connor turns out to have been a Canadian company based in Ottawa. Not much more info except by ads in the Ottawa Citizen they were still in business in 1961. I wonder if they made the jump to automatic washers.
