Proto Tools appear pretty frequently in my area. In fact, I think the very first half-inch drive ratchet I bought was a Proto, found at an army surplus store on Yonge Street in Toronto.
Part of Plomb Tools, There's lots written about this brand on the 'Net'. The company enjoyed word play in their ads, with fanciful figures like their "Puncharoo," "Wrenchund" and "Adjustabull." Below, a sampling of their ads.
