About a year ago I found an ad for the Winn Citybike and posted it. It seems an actual bike has turned up!

"I found this in a warehouse which is now a co-working space where I work, and asked permission to try and get it working again. It’s sat unused for 45 years (the registration plate and tax disc indicated 1974) although the design originates from 1966. I’m trying to find out more about this curious little electric moped, which I’d like to bring back to road use – apart from Google (which brought me to your site, among a very small number of others) – there’s not a great deal of information out there. It seems the bike was too far ahead of its time, so very few were made and there’s no owners club."

Came accross your article and I too have a Winn City electric bike that my dad bought at an auction in the late 1960's. It's been in the garage ever since and I would like to get it on the road again, although we never registered with DVLA.
Would be great to get in contact !
