The most famous 1973 Pontiac Catalina

Jan Norbye Jim Dunne, Pontiac, the Postwar Years, Motorbooks International 1979

A 1973 Catalina, sporting the new mandated 5 mph bumper, was the 16 millionth car to roll off the Pontiac assembly line.  To celebrate the occasion, the general manager, Martin Caserio, poses for a photograph holding a 55 lb lollipop. He is joined by the 16 year old daughter of an unnamed employee.
