I keep finding these tool brand names I've never heard of. From the net, Task Tools is a Canadian company that has been sourcing tools from "all over the world" since 1968. For these, my guess is China?

I see this brand quite often in the builders' supply stores ( real lumberyards.)It is a value brand a contractor may pickup for themselves or a crew while they are purchasing building material. If lost or destroyed by jobs end it is no great loss.
I will have to look more closely, I guess I don't frequent real lumber yards enough! These were at a antique market with a considerably lower than the Vise Grips in the same box, $6.
