I cannot hide my incredulity - this is the worst ad I have seen for any product, anywhere - much less a motorcycle. What idiot thought this would make a great ad for a failing company? Moreover, what Supreme idiot greenlit funds for it? Maybe some Triumph PR hack who had it in for the company, who knew he was in-line for a layoff?

I think the loser in the stoplight drag race is supposed to be one of those pathetic little Japanese things, which proceeded to kick a$$ at the dealers.
But yes, if one has to spend time working out what the ad is trying to say, then it is a failure.
Yup, the bike in the pic is not a Triumph, although both of youall's comments are spot on.
"Some clown on a tangerine tank with 95 reflectors" -- that was hard to parse. I suppose the copywriter must have been talking about full-dress Harleys? TERRIBLE ad.
