Looks a bit fiddly and make leaky too. 50plus years of motorcycle ownership and I've never owned a cable lubricator. They don't seem to be a common item.

I've owned later versions, designed to use with lube in an aerosol can. Fiddly. Leaky. Of dubious merit.
Cable lubrication is fiddly, period. Plasticine funnels are fun 'cause you hardly ever get to play with plasticine as an adult and it takes you back. Chainsaw oil is the absolute best no contest.

Alt bewährt und auch ab Werk montiert z.B. Zündapp
Have Motion Pro make you cables with the Teflon inner lining. End of.
Teflon ist auch keine Lösung gegen Hüllen Bruch und Rost

Kettensägen Öl (bio) verharzt
I'll try chainsaw oil on cables, I'm experimenting with it for motorcycle chains these days too.
If plasticine is not at hand, masking tape can be coerced into a vaguely funnel shape....
