750 Nardi-Danese
Enrico Nardi who got his start with Lancia.in the early 1930s. After the war he founded an automotive workshop with Renato Danese where they built race cars, prototypes and other specials. This car shown above was powered by a 750 cc flat twin BMW motorcycle engine powering the rear wheels. It was produced as both a single seater and as a two seater and remained competitive through the early 1950s. There was also a 1500cc version with doubled-up BMW engines tried at the same time. By the mid 1950s, they had moved out of complete car production and focused on hop-up components.
