That's how the tag described it. It's possibly some tool for baking perhaps, but the mild steel fins would be subject to rusting, so maybe not food related at all. Guesses?

It's a food processor that gives you a workout. There are tons online. Weren't pretty much all vintage cooking tools made of mild steel? You just learned to dry them after you washed them.

That was easy... :-) basically a little food chopper.
Actually this is a prototype for the lawn dart.
Now I want to buy it to throw it. I bet mom could hit a rodent all the way across the kitchen
