Identifying the Condor

The Focke Wulf FW200 Condor was one of the few 4 engine German airplanes of WW2. It was designed as an airliner and first flew in 1937. During the war it was used as a transport and also as a maritime patrol plane till escort carrier planes started shooting them down.

Identifying friend and foe was crucial and there were charts, books and models produced to that end. This is a WWII ID model of the FW200 in 1/72 scale injection molded in cellulose acetate resin. There is no manufacturers name on the model but is probably by either Design Center or Cruver, who did most of these for the military.
