Boott Cotton Mills

Sidney Lens.  Poverty Yesterday and Today.  New York:  Thomas Y. Crowell Company, 1973
The Boott Cotton Mills operated for 120 years before closing in 1955.  It has since been reopened by the U.S. Parks Department as the Boott Cotton Mills Museum.  It is one of the largest (and loudest!) industrial history museums in the U.S.
