Nerds in Advertising

The R.L. Drake Company was founded in 1943 and is still in business.  Its radio products were at one point used on the RMS Queen Mary.  The American Radio Relay League was founded in 1914 and remains today the largest amateur radio organization in the U.S.  As for the guy in the photo, his Drake 4 gave him a way to make friends.   Breaker, breaker, good buddy!

Below, the ARRL's "Amateur's Code."  Imagine if people using the the internet had to subscribe to a similar code!
