Paymaster Ribbon Writer
Generally called a "checkwriter," this particular example was on display at a silent auction at a thrift store in Ganonoque. A staff member kindly removed it from the display case so I could take some photos of it.
This was the way that businesses used to print cheques back in the Sixties. We've come a long way in fifty years!
