Yamaha SZR660

The SRX-600 carried to the next step. We never got these 5 valve singles in North America. With electric start they may have sold better than the SRX.

Odd those twin downpipes look to me Obiwan. Seems that fixed that on the 600.

Those were restyled by a British studio (thank god) and sold in the US as the MuZ (Moo-Zed to the in crowd). I should say "allegedly sold": Never seen one on the street.

I kinda like the looks (for a mid-nineties bike) but pipe routing does seem a bit random. And even that restyped bike couldn't save MuZ!

Was this the only Yamaha model that was designed and built outside of Japan?

Not sure but I know they did (or do) have a factory in Brazil.
