A "T" handle torque wrench, I've never run into one before, or heard of the manufacturer. But the company was started in 1941 in Seekonk, Massachusetts by the owner's father and they're still around today. Great to see.
This is a preset fixed t-handle torque wrench. I used to sell them in the 80’s. We used to sell their 60 inch pound version to plumbers for tightening no hub cast iron pipe band couplings. The hose clamps on the couplings are spec-ed to be torqued to 60in/lbs for pipe up to a certain size tnen larger ones to 120 in/lbs as I recall. Seekonk was the one preferred in the commercial plumbing trades back in the day.
Years ago I bought a couple of surplus aircraft -factory torque screws=drivers. This tool is the closest I've seen to them, but it surprises me to hear that they are needed by plumbers! Who knew plumbing has gone high tech! Thanks for your comment and the info.
