C. forty years ago, Classic Bike magazine ran photos of the series A known as Glitterguts: about every part of it that was amenable to nickel plating had been plated and polished. Someone's old all-round race bike. I wisht I could find a site with photos, it's very kool.

Rats, you may be thinking of the Oct 93 Classic Motor Cycle issue. Alloy fenders, and tank. Gorgeous. I've added it to the post.
