Strange times in the recreational vehicle market. It seemed every company was playing with snowmobiles, AMF owned Harley Davidson, and in this ad, New Holland of Sperry Rand is making vehicles that defy description. Of these three, I think I'd pick "the Wedge" and park it on my front lawn.

Looks like the illustrator didn't care to leave his comfort zone.

Do they *really* defy description? Have you ever ridden a dune buggy on sand? Did you see Honda, Yamaha and Kawasaki's three-wheelers? This is where all that began.
Kind of like a totey ArgoCat... D.
They defy description if you are averse to foul language. --rats
"Henry Syverson (October 5, 1918 – August 12, 2007) was an American cartoonist and illustrator, born and died in Pine Bush, New York. He was best known for his whimsical single-panel gag cartoons that captured everyday humor, particularly in publications like The Saturday Evening Post."
I believe I've seen this one:
"One of his most enduring contributions is the iconic "You Want It When?" poster from the 1970s, depicting four men laughing uproariously in an office setting—a staple in workplaces that highlighted the absurdity of tight deadlines."
Thanks for that addition.
Yes, thanks!
When I was way too you to drive any of these, my dad must have sent for “the colorful literature” they mention because he had a catalog from this company. I was smitten with “the wedge” and bugged him constantly to let me look at the catalog. He also had a catalog from the Struck Company which made miniature, homeowner-sized excavating equipment and, holy smokes, I REALLY wanted the “mini-dozer”.
