Phunny Phord

Apparently this is a Vaudeville act that's a sure producer of pandemonium.

Monday Mystery; Miller's Falls Brace

From the faint markings visible on the steel, this seems to be a brace from Millers Falls, however we have not been able to find the same design among the hundreds of similar braces with non-ratcheting mechanisms.  The chuck has two jaws, with a smooth screw action, to hold a square bit. Please see close-up photos of the chuck design. Any information that will assist with identifying the model/design or age of the brace would be greatly appreciated.

Utility Tools Limited

This looks like an basic imported bench grinder from the days when we saved old washing machine motors for exactly this purpose. I wonder if there was actually guards mounted originally. BTW, That's a difficult company name to Google.

Range Rover Fire/rescue truck

Surplus to the London Heliport, this would be a great addition to any suburban driveway or strip mall parking lot.  I'd like to see it as a half track.

Pope Tribune with Corn King manure spreader

I wish I knew the story behind a man towing a manure spreader through town but what we do know is it is a Pope Tribune model X no newer than 1907 and the manure spreader is a (normally horse drawn) Corn King.

Royal Wrench, Japan

Another imported wrench with not much trail on the internet. Some on ebay, but they do not to seem to have any connection with the usual Japanese manufacturer KTC.

Only four days on the open sea

An official Canadian Pacific poster by Harry Hudson Rodmell attempting to attract the German tourist in 1925.

Downtown Toronto 1929

Bill Sherk, 60 years behind the Wheel, Dundurn Press, 2003

A Ford Model A travelling north on Yonge St. turns left (west) in front of us onto a street that doesn't exist today. The only thing recognizable today is the Pantages Theater sign. The theatre is still called the Pantages, but with Honest Ed Mirvish's name on it.

A rabbit hole... where did the "Pantages" theatre name come from?
