I thought these 400s were beautiful when they came out and was quite disappointed when the larger differently-styled 650 and 1100 Bandits came out.

I liked them too, but the white wheels bothered me. Like white socks.
I see that the owner has used matching white asbestos tape on the (stock?) exhaust. My guess is the headers became shamefully unsightly over the years.
here are my strict instructions for the bike then park it in my living room on a rd display carpet rug with a DO NOT TOUCH sign. the wheels would be nice painted red. make a red seat cover. wire wheel the headers and paint them with cheap gloss black spray paint. install red Oury motocross grips. paint the motor red. center stand too. remove passenger pegs/brackets. remove windscreen. paint chain guard and headlight bucket red. remove blinkers and mirrors. paint oil cooler red and remove reflectors. paint triple clamps red. paint the fork lowers red. raised white letter period correct looking tires.
