The Churchill Machine Tool Company

This was one of a collection of a few random and unrelated mounted images at an antique store.
This image is probably from the 1950s, but there was no caption provided. I'd never heard of the Churchill Machine Tool company, they seem to specialize in surface grinders. The company is still around today and from the site: The Churchill Machine Tool Company have been providing solutions for industries such as aerospace, steel, utilities, medical and pharmaceutical, education and food/drink for over a century. It was first founded in 1906 by Charles Churchill, an American machine tool manufacturer who created the company in order to adapt and improve upon the products he imported from the United States. By the late 1910s, ‘Churchills’ were manufacturing grinding machines of their own design from their plant in Broadheath, Manchester.
Lathes.co.uk has a section on the company.
