It was 1971 or so, 15 year old me was at the parts desk at Wheels Afield in Kingston, Ontario buying a piston ($4.80) and rings ($2.40) for my $15 basket case Honda 90 project. The guy went into the back, I turned around to look at the posters and whatever else decorated motorcycle shops at the time and...Gasp. There it was! The most beautiful motorcycle I could imagine. Racy styling, candy paint, shiny chrome and polished aluminum, high pipes!- and at $400 used, it may as well have been the moon at my $5 per week allowance. But I never forgot it. Chapter 2
