Responding to the 2300 horsepower from its supercharged Rolls Royce V12, the S-6 demonstrates some of the handling issues during a take off for a practise run for the 1931 Schneider Cup. Shortly after the race the plane was being tested for a world record attempt when the pilot capsized the plane during a landing. The Three Kilometer Record.
