The 'Orwell' Electric Vehicle, 1920

Ransomes, Sims & Jefferies were best known for their agricultural machines.  For a 1919 road test of the 'Orwell', visit the Commercial Motor Archive.  I don't think that Eric Arthur Blair had anything to do with the vehicle's name.
