Locomotive/passenger car, Shakopee

Owned and operated by the Minnesota Valley Railway, the Shakopee was a combination locomotive/baggage/passenger car built in the shops of another lost railway, the Columbus and Indiana Railway. The single drivered unit was built about 1865, shuttled to LaCrosse Wisconsin where it was barged to Mendota, Minnesota for final delivery.
