Hand formed aluminum tank

An awful lot of work for a guy with a hammer. I wonder how long that took to make.

It is shaped beautifully and symmetric, but to smooth the finish would have taken double the time probably?

I love the hammer finish. It was a popular finish for awhile. Some early Steib sidecars sported a similar look.
