It looks to me that the fractions apply to castings, and the decimals to machining carried out thereafter. Main conrod for a 7-cylinder radial? D.
Yes, I was hoping the company that supplied the drawings would have ben mentioned somewhere in the acknowledgments or index. no such luck.
