This pretty little 71 foot steamboat was built at Brewer Maine in 1889. For 44 years the boat steamed around Penobscot Bay delivering passenger and freight to various docks, becoming part of shorefront community. In 1935, while working along Vinalhaven in the fog it ran up on a ledge and rolled. People panicked and were thrown in the water. Another steamer was nearby and rescued all but 4. During the night, the wind and waves came up and the boat was soon wrecked.
