A part of enjoying a motorcycle is just looking at it. This is one that's easy on the eyes. The SRX 600 seemed like a great simple bike when it was released in 1986, though the high price tag and kickstart-only probably hurt sales. The styling holds up well but when you can find one these days, they're still pricey.
The Japanese market got a 400 cc version.

That pencil drawing advert made the back cover of Classic Bike magazine for
months on end back then, and though I hate to admit it, it worked on me.
I think this one came from a Bike” magazine. That’s partly why I picked it, for the sketch!
I owned this bike for ten years and rode it frequently in the Jura region. After some time I rode a Yamaha SZR660 the handling of which was so much better that i gifted the SRX to a friend.
That's another one we didn't get in North America...
